TwentySomeone: Finding Yourself in a Decade of Transition
I am currently
reading the book TwentySomeone. Even though I am not in my twenties, the book can still be applicable to me or anyone who has come to a road block in their life. In the past two years there has been quite a bit of transition for me from funerals, to reevaluating where I am in my seminary studies. Don’t get me wrong, I am thankful for the good and the bad because God is sovereignly in control, nevertheless I am feeling a bit overwhelmed.
I have been thinking about taking a long trip for a while now, and that time has finally come. Yes, I am taking two weeks to go find myself. This blog will be updated daily with where I am, what I am doing, what I am thinking, and what I am learning along the way. Two weeks is not enough time in my opinion, but with the time I have, I am going to take advantage of it.
I will be leaving for San Francisco on July 2nd and will return to Boston on July 18th. To the left of this post, you will see a map that will be updated with my current location during the travel back and forth. Also, with every blog post I write, a map of where I was during that time will be included above the post in order to give you a context. I am pretty excited about the trip and it is my hope that I will come back renewed and with a new sense of direction.
